6. OTHER SERVICE CONTRACTS. This Agreement includes by reference the terms and conditions of all other service agreements, tariffs and other documents applicable to the Cox Services, including but not limited to: (i) the Terms and Conditions or, as of June 1, 2016, the Retail Customer Service Agreement, (ii) the Cox Privacy Policy, (iii) if your Cox Services include fixed telephone service, the terms and conditions set out in your State Tariff or Telephone Controlled Service Guide (iv), the annual notice to the customer for the video service and (iv) if applicable, Cox`s High Speed Internet Subscription Agreement and acceptable use policy (any additional terms of use referred to in paragraphs (i) to (iv) of this paragraph are collectively referred to as “other” service agreements”). In the event of any conflict between this Agreement and the terms of other Service Agreements, this Agreement shall prevail. The offering includes the new Cox Homelife Automation service plan and is available to consumers with a current subscription to one or more Von Cox video, Internet and/or telephone services in certain Cox service areas. The free starter equipment kit (1 door/window sensor, 1 smart LED bulb and 1 HD camera) and hub device are included with paid installation and eligible credit. Additional equipment charges may be extra. Some advertised features may require a Homelife Security & Automation service plan and the purchase of additional equipment. Offer expires on 28.09.2020.

The standard installation fee ($25.00) applies to most installations. Installation is included with eligible plans at no additional cost. The CoxLife home automation service plan is not a monitored home security system and only includes home automation services. Cox Homelife Security & Automation service plan required for professional surveillance services for burglaries, smoke/fire and related system components. A high-speed Internet connection is required for both services and is not included in the price. Monthly service fees, installation, additional equipment, taxes, travel and other fees may apply. The price may be increased if a required service is downgraded or cancelled. All prices and packages are subject to change. Subject to credit approval.

I see a lot of posts about cancelling the service, but apparently after reading the agreement, I am signed up for a 2-year contract and if I were to cancel the account, I would most likely be subject to a penalty, right? The advertised price includes recurring monthly service charges, but does not exclude device charges. Additional outlets, internal wiring, reconnection, activation, taxes, franchise fees and surcharges are additional. A modem is required for service.

All prices and offers are subject to change. All Cox Internet plans include 1 TB (1024 GB) of data usage per month. Unlimited additional data plans of 500 GB can be added for an additional monthly fee. By entering into this Agreement, you confirm that you are at least 18 years of age and that you are either the Primary Account Holder for the Service Address set forth above or that you have been authorized by the Primary Account Holder to make changes to that Account and to enter into this Agreement on their behalf. If you are not the Primary Account Holder, you further agree that you will be jointly and severally liable with the Master Account Holder for all payments and other obligations due to Cox under this And other Service Agreements. You agree that Cox has the right to believe that any information you have provided to us is accurate. Note: Most promotional prices cannot be combined with promotional prices for other services.
